Music Below Ground
(494/365) Today I went on a subway excursion for musicians. I rode 7 different subway lines, and at least as many stations. I found this guy at the entrance tunnel at West 4th. I was skeptical at first, but he was good with people, always smiling, and causing others to do the same. I liked this location because he was in such a narrow, heavily trafficed passageway, which created a unique closeness, not unfamiliar to users of the subway. While most of my travels went without pictures, I visited several new stations, and ran across at least half a dozen performers. I would like to note that almost none seemed to be in the Downtown area around Wallstreet. That was a dissappointing fact.
